This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

About Melita Safran
Hi! My name is Melita and I was born in musical family. My mother played the piano and my father played the viola, all Academic proffessional musicians. So I also finished Musical academy and now I'm working in Comedy theatre as a Concert master/the first violin in the orchestra. From the other side, my grandfather Antun Mezdjic (1907 - 1981) was an Academic painter and the professor on the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. For I was a little girl when he died I couldn't learn anything about painting from him and I'm so sorry about it. I always loved drawing, my school notebooks were all full of sketches almost always horses (another of my passions). That's how I start. All the rest is practise. Melita, I saw this image on the promotional thread in the group, Vote and Vote Often while I putting some images up today and I could not believe the the detail and the realism of this image. The detail of the horses charging through the water is remarkable I feel like I can feel their movement and the water splashing around. Anytime you can get a viewer's feeling to feel that way you know you have created something special and you have. Great use of colors and not one detail left out.
