This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

We had decided to take a short drive into Franklin Mountains State Park for the purpose of taking a hike, but the weather not only did not warm up, by the time we got into the park, there were snow flurries. Truth be told, it was about 37 degrees and very little of the snow lasted more than a few minutes.
About Allen Sheffield
I am a retired University lecturer, and I have been an avid photographer for some 50 years. My wife and I love to travel. We like to see the US and we have had some wonderful journeys over the past 20 years. We went to Peru and Ecuador where we saw and photographed the plains of Nazca, Machu Picchu, a bit of the Amazon rainforest, and of course, The Galapagos. Less than a year later we spent two weeks driving around England (her birthplace.) In 2012, we traveled to France. We began in Nice on The Cote d'Azur. Take a look at my panoramic views of the beaches at Cannes and Antibes. The main attraction of this trip was a week on a river cruise ship from Arles to Macon.
