Description
Water rushes through the rocks in the deep jungles of Western Ghats in Karnataka, India. Picture was captured during monsoon season when the water level was high. Needed some strenuous hiking to reach this spot but the effort was well worth it. In the deep jungles, the two streams are merging in to one. The bigger stream makes a fall from about 15 feet and the force has eroded the soil and many rocks and pebbles have come to the top from the stream bed. However, they really add to the beauty of the stream and it reminds me a famous quote by Carl Perkins which states that "If it were not for the rocks in its bed, the stream would have no song". Surrounding green forest further enhanced the beauty of this scene.
