Jane. I am drawn to this painting like a moth to flame. I have searched for some way to adequately describe this captivating work of art. It goes well beyond platinum medals and gold cups. You have magic in your fingers and gold in your heart. My dear lady, you are an artist for the ages....such sweet, lovely work

Hello Dave! I especially love your comment on my Moon Shadow painting because it is one of my favorite paintings that I ever did and I can't explain why ! I have painted numerous works in so much more detail, yet this semi abstract always has such a soothing effect ! Thanks so much!

Light not arising from the moon, Jane, but from inside of the probably new world, ..the Lady on the bank of the lake is part of... One of those wonderful paintings of yours, that grow more lovely and deeper, the longer you look at them! The purple sky appearing like a wide ocean, hiding the light of the moon,..but the light in this new world is so wonderful and bright, that moon may hide behind his own shadows..wonderful and thoughtful and sensitive, like always... v/f Almo
Jane Small replied:
Almo,if I was feeling a little sad for any reason, certainly reading one of your comments would cheer me up! I have always liked the mood and feeling of this picture and I love how you have described it and touched so perfectly on the "essence" of this painting.Thank you so much.

There are so many gorgeous artworks that I have yet to see dear Jane in your amazing portfolio.....this so enjoyable...that vibrant pink in the right foreground is just wonderful, and picked up again in that awesome sky; such a beautiful, dreamy painting my friend - I can picture you (or me) sitting there in total awe at the beauty before (us).....the graceful sweeping hills connecting with the beautiful water - weeping willows are among my favorite trees and this one is so lovely - I see an angel in the blue hillside, looked in large format and there she is......so lovely!!! Joyce
Jane Small replied:
Joyce, how totally magical that you found an angel in the hill! And thank you for your lovely comment. This is one of my favourite of the beeswax paintings so I'm really happy you like this.Willows are among my favourite trees too!
