Five Hundred Boylston - Boston Architecture
This iconic office and retail building forms part of the High Spine in the Back Bay district of downtown Boston. Winner of several prizes for building design, and of the EPA's award for Sustained Excellence in Energy Management, this 25 story building is characterized by its entry courtyard - fringed by soaring columns of rose granite, its two-story windows, and its vaulted copper roofline. The central tower, supported by its two flanking wings, proudly adorns the skyline of a cityscape filled with skyscrapers and may be most widely recognized as the setting for the TV serial, Boston Legal.
A perfect card or gift for any Bostonian, for an aspiring architect or a lover of post-modern design, for fans of Boston Legal, or even for someone who suffers from vertigo!
