This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

On July 29th I took the opportunity to get in a helicopter without any doors and fly over the lava flowing to the sea from Fissure #8 on the Kilauea volcano on the big island in Hawaii. We were there for my daughter's wedding a few days later on Oahu but planned to take a few days ahead of the wedding to explore the big island and hoped to see some volcanic activity. The park is closed as they are a bit concerned about what tourists would do if they had access to the lava flow and due to unpredictable earthquakes and release of dangerous gas. The park visitor center has many many cracks from the earthquakes. All the roads near the lava were closed and guarded by the local police and the national guard. There are only 2 ways to see the lava, by helicopter or by special boats that can view the lava flowing into the sea but not the lava river and the erupting fissure. I booked the helicopter 2 months in advance on the hopes that the lava would still be flowing.
