Description
This is Nola...a Clydesdale mare...and she was truly a gentle giant standing 18 hands at the shoulder. A 'hand' is the unit used to measure a horse's height from ground to shoulder and is recognized as a standard at 4 inches. Nola measured 6 feet from ground to shoulder but that gentle brown eye and calm disposition tells you how sweet and calm she was. I love her white blaze and those long eyelashes.

Beautiful calm yet powerful photo. The eye of this Clydesdale shows such depth and soul. A truly striking eye-portrait of Noia's eye.
