Description
The remains of the seven mile bridge at Marathon Key as shown in this photographic art image is open for bicyclists and walkers. It is a 1.2 mile walk on this link between Marathon and Cabbage Key. Evening is a popular time for getting out. The original Seven Mile Bridge is a converted railroad bridge after the the railroad ceased in 1935. The handrails are the original rails from the bridge when it was part of the Overseas Railroad.
