Description
This month, romanian people celebrate their national author, Mihai Eminescu. One of my favourite poems is Lucifer. The story is about a beautiful princess who falls in love with the Evening Star, and night after night, she is begging him to come down to her and lose his immortality. The star is falling also in love with the beautiful girl, a deep , true love. He starts his long journey to ask the Oblivion to release him from his duty, to allow him to descend on the Earth, and to give him mortality. In the meantime, the girl meets a boy on Earth, who is sweet and fun, and she forgets about her star. Oblivion sends Hyperion to look one more time on the Earth before he decides, and he descends fast only to see the two beautiful kids kissing and holding hands.
Disappointed, the star returned on his sphere.
