The George Inn, Norton St. Philip is situated just six miles away from the Roman city of Bath, it has offered hospitality to weary travellers, and celebrities alike for over 700 years. It is reputed to be one of the oldest continually licensed Inns in the country. This grade one listed building still retains all character, charm and quirkiness with resident ghost, open fires and a warm welcome.
This capture was made during a lunch-time visit in the early 1980's.
