I was on a journey when I took that picture. A jouney of contemplation, a magical journey. Something was up there: silence, nature, peace and a great sense of contentment.
This photo was taken on top of the french Alps which are those portions of the Alps mountain range which stand within France, located in the Rhne-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Cte d'Azur regions.
Mont Blanc (Italian: Monte Bianco), located on the French-Italian border, is the highest mountain in the Alps as well as the highest mountain in Europe west of Russia at 4,810.45 metres (15,782 ft).
Notable towns in the French Alps include Grenoble, Chamonix, Annecy, Chambry, vian-les-Bains and Albertville.

I understand, it's the risk here (....) Thanks anyway for the "beautiful shot" not consedering myself really as a photograph!

It is an interesting effect. For me, it takes away from the beauty of the shot. But I will admit, it is eye catching.

Greeting Flow, it was a pleasure to view your suburb gallery, as I was viewing the different galleries I came upon this remarkable yet so creative image. I have seen many photographers here in America and some use an object and place it in the photo. Some use this object as a signature to there creative photography. This photo composition, vivid colors, design of the sphere is nothing but Bravo, Bravo, Bravo, this is a great photo! This photo has received my V/F and my personal pick of the day from another FAA members gallery! Cheers, Michael Hoard
