Thanks Sophie! I don't take that many B&W photographs but this did not really work in color and I immediately switched into B&W mode when I came across the image. Glad you like it!

Thanks for your kind comment Joanne ... very much appreciated. I took this one at Bowman Beach in Florida last December. While there I tried B&W ... I wrote about it in my nature photography blog at http://blog.juergenrothphotography.com/2010/01/at-bowman-beach.html

I am drawn into this photo, Juergen. I love the way you captured the shoreline almost avoiding the driftwood in that one recessed area. A straight shoreline would not have been as interesting. I also love the way my eye dances around those long reflecting shadows which reveal a very different view of the driftwood.
