This is part of my continuing study of door locks. I cut apart the photo and traced the biggest pieces because their shapes are so interesting. On my first attempt at this painting, I was really unhappy with the work so I washed it off. It also appears in my collection 'Washed Off Wonders'. It appears to be several humanoid shapes observing some sort of machine. It is brown tones or rust tones.

Did you realize that often some motifs getting more focused on square format? I had this experience when I started to square many of my photography and I am very happy with it - also seeing new motifs/pareidolia I did even not see before on the original size!
