Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Artist statement I love the spontaneity of watercolors and am motivated to paint by the amazing natural surroundings of the Pacific West Coast. My strongest connections are with nature. It is reflected in the colors I use and the subject matter that compels me to pick up a brush and paint. I enjoy exploring, drawing, photographing and painting the rugged Pacific West Coast. Always having had an interest in visual expression and nature, both of which were encouraged by my father from a very young age, I think about or do something creative every day.
