one of my favorite drawings....portraits need to do more than just show what a person looks like.....it needs to tell a story...give us a glimpse into a personality....i can look everywhere, but am compelled to return to her eye and pouty mouth.. the bold contrast in light and dark is very appealing in it's drama!
