As if the steel bars of the cell or cage are pressing on their face... there is no more space left. There never was any to begin with. Almost like one of those trees that has grown into and around the steel cable that tries to choke the life out of it. Thought provoking Katerina. Wanted to revisit this painting. Fav/Like
