Description
The Dahlia is the national flower of Mexico.
It is one I love greatly because there are so many different varieties in such a great range of stunning colors that they are a flower photographers dream flower.
A further advantage, at least for me, is that it comes into full bloom somewhat later in the year just as most things in the herbaceous borded have gone past their best and can provide fabulous garden color until the arrival of the first frosts.
