Description
Here is my unintentional, at least at the time of painting, homage to Maria Ginanni, whom I call "the visionary soul of 'heroic' Futurism" and to whose oeuvre I have previously dedicated 69 pages of analysis and 3 lines of haiku:
deep down
a pearl and a coral

With Deep Down, executed a month or so after the seminal Conception - The Firebird (see my portfolio), I started developing a special technique of action painting with OILS. In Autumn 2013, while conducting the first experiments with clarified linseed oil, I started spontaneously breaking some fundamental rules of traditional oil painting and probably even common sense, as such "wettest of the wet" pieces hardly ever dry! Instead, they tend to live a life of their own, like the best wines... and like those worth waiting for? -_-
