A mid-Autumn sunset transforms Washington state's Puget Sound from simply beautiful to serenely beautiful. The island is Eagle Island, a state park accessible only by boat, and one of the southernmost of Puget Sound's many islands. This image was taken with an iPhone 5 from the upper deck at Anderson Island Photography.

Sean Griffin (b. 1949- ) is an award-winning American fine art and portrait photographer who divides his time between the beautiful Pacific Northwest of the United States and the lush Sonoran Desert of Arizona. His work has been recognized by The Smithsonian, among others.
