DINNER PLATE DAHLIA by Lynn Bauer - A large and very colorful dinner plate dahlia, along with an upcoming bud contrast nicely against a bright green bokeh. This flower was amazingly large...a good 10 - 12 inches across! The intense colors of this flower during the spring months changes to much lighter tones during the hear of the summer, but it is an exceptionally pretty flower, either way. The center of this flower is very frilly and elegant, making it one of the most gorgeous flowers I have seen!
Found in a back yard garden in Southern California.
