Description
The Dark-Eyed Junco is commonly seen in Connecticut during the winter months. They migrate from Canada and usually are seen on the ground in small flocks. Right after our early snowstorm they arrived in my yard. They feed on seeds and insects and will go to feeders. They spend most of their time on the ground picking up what has fallen out of the feeders.
