The dandelion is a perennial, herbaceous plant that may seem like a pesky weed in your lawn or garden, however it has many uses that you may not be aware of. Pictured here is my dandelion Gem. It is a macro close-up shot of the inflorescence flower head that carries all of the seeds. In this close up you can see the true natural beauty of the fragile yet intricate delicate bloom. Soon a light wind will add in the pollination by blowing the seeds from the plant.
