Description
She was dancing to the drumbeats at the Asheville Drum Circle when I captured her photograph. I developed it in Black and White but I wanted to create something soft and special, hence this digital colored chalk rendering.
I use many methods to create these artistic renderings, but the basic methods are to take a black and white image I have already developed from a candid street photo, change it to nearly solid black and white, do some touch up, add some color effects, and then "paint" digitally to get a desired result. It is more complex than that, but that is the general idea. After 24 years using Photoshop and with 8+ hours every day practicing, I love what I do.
I am happy to create custom work as well. Contact me at info@haldanecreativeart.com
