This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

About JC Findley
A little about me: I was raised a military brat and lived all around the US growing up. I went to Auburn University then joined the Air Force upon graduation. In the Air Force I flew B-1B bombers, T-37 and T-38 trainers, KC-135s and taught counter terrorism CQC defensive tactics for aircrews. I retired from the Air National Guard after 21 years of service. I was also an airline pilot for Midwest Airlines where I flew DC-9s, MD-80s and Boing 717s. All of Midwest's flight-crews were outsourced in 2008 and now I make my living selling art and various other jobs in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Thanks for the nice words Don..... I wish I had not neglected my photography back in my active flying days. This one is now parked on the Air National Guard side of McConnell AFB. I do miss flying that plane.

Well, JC, it's more than a treat to discover that an artist with a camera has created such a sensational "portrait" of his own daily driver (if I may call it that). I love the colors and foreshortening effect of this. Nice angle too and I hope you weren't standing on your co-pilot's head to get it. For anyone reading this, Wikipedia has an unusually well-detailed history of the B-1 (hence "Bone). Carter killed it, Reagan rescued it. The Bone might be Rockwell's masterpiece. History will tell us.
