I probably will NOT purchase from this site again. The quality of the puzzle was just okay, for example there were many pieces where the backing was delaminating. (See 2 photos) Additionally, the size was advertised as 20" x 28". The finished puzzle size was actually 19-5/8" x 26-1/8". I feel that skimping on the size resulted in the face of the bottom kitty being half obscured when framed. This is the most I've ever paid for a puzzle that I expected to be perfect. (I could only select 1 photo. Please email me if you want photos of puzzle pieces delaminating.)

I love the puzzle as I live in Shingletown. It was very difficult! But the letters that say "Gateway To Lassen" are CUT OFF it only shows part of the quotes. 🤦♀️ So disappointing! ☹ *See attached image.

Williamsport is nearly 100 miles from Georgetown in Washington D.C. by canal and was a major port along the route to Cumberland. It was a few miles below Williamsport that the Army of Northern Virginia retreated south of the Potomac following their defeat at the Battle of Gettysburg. The Chesapeake and Ohio Canal was created with the idea of connecting the City of Washington and Chesapeake Bay with the Ohio River in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. The canal took far longer to build and had massive overruns then had been planned, and was never built beyond Cumberland Maryland. In fact as a percentage of the gross national product, its construction cost as much as the Apollo program.
