A farmer harvesting his corn field on an early Autumn morning, Logan Utah
The city of Logan was founded by the Mormon settlers in 1859. The Logan Utah Temple, which was dedicated in 1884, is based in the city of Logan. The city was given its name after Ephraim Logan, an early fur trapper in the Cache Valley.
Logan is located 36 miles N of Ogden, Utah (center to center) and is 384 miles W of Denver, Colorado.
