~ Such a poignant theme, Michel... Here's my Sunday gift to you my friend ))) www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHsQUGjC1NA .... Hope you'll enjoy )))
Michel Verhoef replied:
Some really don't like this image because of the colors...but what can I do when they were there to view...lol...thanks for the gift and yes i already watched it many times even before you sent it...lol..:))

Great moment to show the fragility of elderly people and their loneliness. Fantastic portrait and beautiful edition as usual...

Great chosen title! We are sometimes a bunch of funny people. We love the sun, we want a blue sky...but if life could become boring with all that sunny blue sky. Sometimes the rain refreshes certain habits - in a lot of ways!
Michel Verhoef replied:
Yeahhh...that's it..the explanation I was looking for....the weather change is good for all :)) you're fantastic !
Michel Verhoef replied:
Well seen Nicole ! Those countries can be so dry. Rain does rejuvenate people, if it's not too much and if the sun shines afterwards ! ...it also applies to photographers btw...lol

I love the grittiness of this photo, Michel...the old, stained buildings, the old cart, and the faded stall umbrellas...and of course the fascinating layers of clothing on the woman in the foreground....so intriguing...and the women and young girl in the background...the rain covered ground reflecting it all....these are real people captured for one moment of their real lives....great work, Michel! Michel Verhoef replied:
Thanks for your very good description Sandi...we photo critics call that the pillar 1 till 6 system...

The most surprise for me here its a wet surface, so much unusual to see... The reflection brought into a life a new dimension and another mood! Love the tones and actually everything about your another winner, Michel!

This is so very nice! The figure dead center works because she has stopped -- perhaps to catch her balance? You colors are as Odd wrote -- muted -- muted and lovely as in a pastel. V/F and featured in Street Photography group.

Fabulous environmental portrait of this old person at the market. The rain makes the capture that much richer with the reflections of the activity. vf
Michel Verhoef replied:
Thanks Mary I am thrilled by your wonderful in depth comment...you are a good critic ! :)

She looks saintly and a difficult place!! Fantastic! Thanks for your submissions to MOUSE! Featured F/V

You take a Dreary, Rainy Day... & capture it in the most Beautiful, Colorful Way! The pavement looks like glass- I almost expect her to start dancing.
Michel Verhoef replied:
How did you know that she started to dance right after this ? After hitting me firmly with her stick of course....lol....thanks Danielle :))
