Bruce Combs - REACH BEYOND

Bruce Combs - REACH BEYOND

Hi, again, Anne-Elizabeth! First my two favorite colors, dark blue and lavender, especially together here, caught my attention, interest, and admiration. Why don't I just say that I like it very much. It makes me feel good, and better! I've also thought a bit about having a Kokopelli on one of the ridges. Sure, that would be nice, even exciting, though I can't imagine what color he would be. BUT that thought is stupid, I realize! It would then make this whole beautiful work of art into a background. You've got it just exactly excellent right now! Don't change a bit! The green lines on the left (don't know what to call them -- I can imagine a number of things that I am not going to mention -- but I think that they are a wonderful bit there. I also like the larger, solider gathering of white near the bottom after its sort of lesser streaks add to the texture all the way down from the ledge that it creates about two-thirds of the way up. Is it a giant white bird? I don't think so, but rather another small ledge near the bottom. Of course, it's both and whatever many more any viewer wants to think, see, huh? And nothing can lessen the "joy forever" you created here for us all! Peace, etc., Bruce 7-15-14.

Bruce, your generous words of praise and your insightful ideas have pleased me so much! Thank you so very much! As you know, I love to experiment. Also, as you know, I love your work and am fascinated by your talent and creativity. It is a joy to visit your site. I not only "feast my eyes" (pardon the cliche'), but I also learn something new every time. Blessings to you always friend. .

Wonderful! Such rich colors and is that a white bird?

Yes, after I painted this I "decided" that was a white bird. He (or she) simply flew into the picture. LOL. Blessings to YOU.
