Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Marlene Mitchell has been creating art most of her life. She was born in Maryland where she trained as a Commercial Artist. Her art soon turned to what she loves, nature and wildlife. Her subjects are often spots she discovers while rambling through remote areas with her family. With paints, easel and camera, paintings are often begun on location and finished back at her studio. Mediums are oils, acrylics, watercolor and color pencil. Her award winning paintings of landscapes, wildlife and still lifes have appeared in many art shows, galleries and public places
