This picture was taken at the Vizcaya in Miami Florida. If you ever get a chance to visit Miami, I highly recommend that you go take a tour and/or have lunch in the garden. It is a beautiful place filled with art. A couple of these statues are laid out around the property. I feel that this statue represents a very head strong and warrior like woman. In the original photograph the statue is surrounded by nature. I digitally took the background out to isolate and center the importance of this strong figure. I feel it makes it even stronger.
