Description
This sparkling, pointellist drawing was done from a photo I took very early in the morning, when the dazzling slanting light was catching the twiggy creosote bushes and the tips of a purple cholla where the darks of night still lingered. It is drawn in oil pastel on heavy water-color paper, which gives it a a kind of shimmering effect. The original image measures 20 1/2" wide by 14" high. (I have disallowed the larger maximum resolution sizes for wall art.). The setting of this scene is the foothills of Tucson, Arizona.
