This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

This painting shows a family of chickens looking at their egg.
About Sophy White
I paint in sacred Celtic colours, mainly white, black and red, using handmade paints made from local earth. I dig up iron oxide in a Neolithic redding pit close to the house for red, use soot and ash from the fire for black, and lime and ash for white. My images are of living animals in Celtic myth, the Celtic dreamtime. I have been exhibiting in and around Bristol over the last few years. All images copyright Sophy White.
