Cherokee Falls is a 60 foot waterfall located in Cloudland Canyon State Park in Dade County, Georgia. The waterfall, formerly unnamed, was named in a contest.
The popular Cloudland Canyon Waterfalls Trail descends stairs to two waterfalls, Cherokee Falls and Hemlock Falls, that cascade in the beautiful, steep-walled canyon.
Cherokee Falls was actually one of the very first places I ever shot. I brought back some great memories when I hiked to the waterfall with my wife and 9 month old daughter.
