This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

TTV or "Through The Viewfinder" is a way of taking photos with a digital camera through the viewfinder of a second camera such as a Kodak Duaflex. The patina and cloudy patterns on the lens of the Duaflex are unique to each camera depending on age and wear and tear. Mine is particularly nasty...just how I like it.

Melissa was born in Indiana but moved to Alaska at three years of age with her adventuresome hippie parents, who wanted to live off the land and expand their spiritual horizons. Her idealistic parents marinated her childhood in art, music and all forms of free thinking. She started creating art as soon as she could hold a crayon. She is extraordinarily prolific and has shown her work at galleries in; Charleston, SC, Albuquerque, NM, New Orleans, LA, Louisville, KY and Anchorage, AK. She has been published in fashion magazines for her photography and has been commissioned for book covers, murals and portraits of all types.
