This photograph was taken in October of 2012 at the Charleston Battery. The Battery is a landmark seawall and promenade in Charleston, SC. It stretches along the lower shores of the Charleston peninsula, bordered by the Ashley and Cooper Rivers, which meet here to form Charleston harbor.
About Cathy Lindsey
I have been an artist as long as I can remember. My specialty is pastel portraits, although I also paint in oils. I bought a camera in 2011 to capture images to paint from and fell in love with photography. Taking photos has become a passion on its own. I am originally from Georgia but moved to High Country NC in 2016. I live just a few miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway and love taking mountain pictures. I take my camera and ride to explore new places and photograph everything in sight. I am like a child and get excited about a mountain view or sometimes just a flower blooming.
