Description
Fall at Texas A&M University under the Century tree. Every aggie knows the traditions associated with this tree; those couples who walk under the tree together will marry, and a proposal under the tree means the marriage will last forever. This tree, over 100 years old now, was one of the first trees planted at TAMU, and has been engrained in the aggie traditions and lore of the university ever since.
Shot on a full frame Nikon d750 with a Tamron ultra wide lens, edited and exported at 300 ppi for excellent print quality and sharpness.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.
