Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

As summer approaches, the canola crop blooms yellow, covering much of Alberta, Canada. These scenes are such a treat as one drives along the highways and country roads.
Born in the pristine wilderness of northern Alberta, Shirley became aware of the beauty and design in nature. It all began by making hundreds of decorative mud pies as a young girl. She was designing pictures and jewellery with seashells in her teenage years, and then moved on to ceramics as a young adult. Shirley always used her creative energy. One constant, though, was her love of photography which began at age 14 when Shirley bought her first camera. Being an art major in the field of education was a big help in improving her photography. After retirement she began selling prints at arts and craft shows. And now Shirley would like to share some of her favorites with you. https://www.facebook.com/ShirlsPics
