Beautiful orange, black and white Butterfly standing on a pink Diosma flower. The Butterfly was swaying on the plant in the morning sun.
Pink Diosma flowers are very small and cover the low growing plant. The Dioma plant also comes in a variety called Golden Diosma which is a white variety of flower. The white variety once the blooms have gone the shrub looks a golden colour by its foliage.
The soft pink flowers bloom in Spring in Australia. The plant grows to about three feet tall and can be hedged into and shape you wish.
Diosma plant is native to South Africa. The Diosma plant is also Confetti Bush and also Breath Of Heaven.
