Doubts are fingers which reach out and do not feel
Doubts act like spider webs across a face
Doubts feel like a song birds call, never answered
Doubts behave as rain drops from a sunny sky
Doubts look like crows feet on pristine sand
Doubts linger like the froth of a retreatng sea
Doubts move like the clouds over warm earth
Doubts crawl like the damp under the tent door
Doubts become as busy as ants in a hill
Doubts undermine as quickly as racing rivers' power
Doubts startle like a covy of quail
Doubts are as unpredictable as a wobbly stream rock
Doubts hurt vision like smoke from a open fire

Wow, dear Susan, such a powerful work of art and message within. Your poem, is wonderful, although it also feels like a gut punch because it is so true. The caged bee, it is startling to come across this, next to butterflies flying free, i can relate sadly only too well. I suppose at some point in life many of us do, I don't know. Your poem, just wow. This all hit me like a ton of bricks, I need to fly free, I need to free myself, we all do, we must. Brilliant, emotional, meaningful art and words. Thank you.

My sweetheart Friend, it's the 'caged bee' that so moves me deeply, poor thing.....and so poetic that it is a symbol,among so many you share, to make us remember that we are free.....in our heads, !, no matter the so-called,man-made cage...you are a survivor, don't I know it; and this is your way to encourage all to do so too, no matter the challenge....I need to set that bee free, Susan.......for thee and me.......Love your Doubts poem, all so true,too......but.....positivity will give a way out,up,over such doubts.Regards,f.v.....
