Brown Pelican is an original hand-painting by Ella Kaye.

Along the coastal shore, you will find this large beautiful pelican. The brown pelican glides along in the sea breezes. They are famous for that long bill and throat pouch. The brown pelican will dive for a fish and catch him in his pouch. It holds its head upward to drain out the water and then swallow the fish whole. The brown pelican is on the endangered species list. However, they are currently increasing in number.
