Description
Fall in Zion National Park, Utah (USA), offers spectacular beauty. Janet and I had not been to Zion during October for decades. So it was time to experience it once again.
The setting for this painting is at the end of a park service road that I once named "The Road to Grandeur" at the foot of The Court of the Patriarchs. As you approach the Virgin River and rush of white water rapids, you come to a Hikers' Bridge. The Sand Bench Trail starts here.
We have some sweet memories of just standing in the middle of "Hikers' Bridge," at Sand Bench Trail. Sharing this splendor in every direction, with someone dear, is something I live for. We have seen brave Kayakers paddle over these falls and rapids.
A flash flood has jammed a long log between rocks to the left. The immense temples of multihued Navajo Sandstone, reach for the heavens and are known as Abraham and Isaac (Court Of The Patriarchs).
Old broken and twisted trees are surrounded by young saplings. The sound of the wind through the trees and white water are nature's symphony. Standing here on this sunny fall afternoon, motivated this painting. Zion is very challenging as it is so narrow and yet so tall. A certain amount of detail has to be rendered or all sense of scale is lost. Huge pine trees at the summit look tiny way up there.
So, this is yet another painting that "rocked" my world. From the 3,000 foot temples to the rocky Virgin River bed. I have been nicknamed "the rock artist" by some dear friends and love that name and bear it proudly. I have been in love with this awesome place for over 30 years. I hope it shows in this effort!

The time of when the erosion could not have take place with defeating life as that was time when Trees prayed for good to live with birds sang the songs of rise of eyes with spark like in water to let go the pain of yesterday to welcome the best in life that been earned and got not like that is so beautifully is visible in this so extremely charming creation of yours my dear very kind friend Jerry and yes the prayers being heard by those pure in eyes reflect one own intent as Karma of mirror to show right to guide or not showing anything else, as life makes sense of having body as clothes over soul and nakedness can only be comfortable if alone but if needs life than clotheing is essential as body to hug love ones instead of willing them to hug! Such an adorably a very peaceful creation! Lots of love, hugs, happiness, peace, and light of safety! :)
Jerry Bokowski replied:
Thank you for all of your heart felt expressions, Tejsweena! The Almighty Creator of the Universe designed the earth to be a wonderful home for all his creations to enjoy. The variety of living things from the vegetation to animal to human beings testify to His grand artistry. I just attempt to mimic the incredible scenery He has created for our enjoyment!

The bright green skirt of trees at the perimeter of the rock face is very attractive, Jerry; a lovely compliment to the hard terrain & to the rich, cobalt sky above — your talent displays itself yet again in this wonderful painting ;)🍃

Jerry Bokowski replied:
This features the bridge that we watched the Kayakers from, the bridge we cossed to see the grandeur all around in relative solitude, the bridge that I hoped you would see someday. My largest Zion painting to date. Thank you for your visit and comments, dear Eva. They mean a lot to me!
