Description
I created this impressionistic, semi-abstract, minimalist cloudscape painting from my imagination. It is part of my semi-abstract, monochromatic series. I wanted to create a sense of moodiness and atmosphere in this painting. This series is meant to be somber and reflective.

Thanks Nader, for featuring my painting in Fine Art University Of Painting. Very grateful!
Viktor Artemev
This work is special, of a very high level. Just right for prestigious galleries. This is a very good attempt to explore the boundaries of your talent. There is no usual lightness and openness here, as in other works, but this kind of work is best suited for sale.
Roger Quesnel replied:
Excellent feedback Viktor! Yes, I was purposely keeping mystery in this one. Not spelling it out for the viewer. Glad you picked up on that and like it.
LaVonne Kennedy
This gives me a feeling of suffocation…as if things are so overwhelming that I could almost be engulfed by despair… wonderful emotional language unspoken but communicating to the heart in deep silence
Roger Quesnel replied:
Thanks LaVonne, for sharing how my painting resonates with you! I am grateful for the comments!

Beautifully subtle but still with amazing texture and depth. Like the first light coming through, after a bad storm. Love this.
