Description

This small egg tempera painting was done in the traditional method on a hand prepared panel. Years ago in Upstate NY I would go running most mornings. I ran by many older homes in this small town. I liked the way the bright morning light would shine and make strong shadows.When I had completed it in all the blues I decided it needed a little contrast so added the mat and pumpkin. The lace was done by scratching out with a needle.
