He is sweet with a fascinating intelligence and ability to communicate . very independent and calm. And I am so amazed how big he is . such a beautiful boy. The very large and exotic Blue Hyacinth Macaw is very rare. I love his deep blue colours and the brilliant yellow characteristic accents. Be sure and stay clear of that formidable beak. Giving him plenty of space allows him to relax and be an observer. I speak softly to him and he smiles. They are marvelously expressive. As he gazes at my camera I believe he wonders at his own reflection in my lens . . .
