Description
The Blue Dancer was inspired by a friend from college, and is one of my personal favorites. It is also one of the most unique pieces I've ever done. After arranging the rice paper on the solid, wood board, she seemed to jump out at me from the pattern formed.
This is a heavy piece because of the wood background (it weighs approx. 2 lbs.); which if you've seen, my other pieces, you know I usually deal with light material. (But yet, it's held on the wall now with tacks.)20
