It all started with a bird trying to take flight in 4" deep snow in Colorado. He jumped up and down then moved to different locations in the snow all in order to get the proper air needed to take off. He did this for a long time but nothing worked. I was tried to get a good photo of the bird but none of the photos came out well. The bird did one finally big jump and was able to get the lift he needed. After the bird flew off I was disappointed because I had not gotten a good photo until I looked down. I was so surprised. I had never seen an impression of bird wings in the snow. Have you?
