...A big John Deere tractor
is one of the big boy's toys
at this dairy farm.
Captured in a light snowfall
in late winter,
the earth is dotted
with small patches of snow
and the cold metal
of the big tractor
is dusted with flakes.
All ready for the job at hand,
this antique beauty
sits at the top of the hill
above the dairy barns
on a small family-owned farm
in western North Carolina
near the Tennessee state border.
Presented in an almost sepia style
of added textures
for an old-world appeal
of yesterday...
