Our beautiful pets have big hearts. I lost a dear friend a while back and his dog stopped eating, constantly looked for him, and in a few weeks died of a broken heart.

Thanks Jerry! I very much agree. I have seen and heard of several cases by now and now there is also scientific evidence. As a scientist I was happy to learn that when a pet looks at you, they actually release the hormone of love. :)

Angela, I love the image and the story. We sometimes take for granted the bond the animals can have for others. A dear friend of mine passed away and his little dog got so depressed that she died a few weeks later! Anyway, a touching image! JERRY

I totally agree Jerry! When my dog passed away, the cat went through the most amazing pain! She was gone for an entire week and came back in like a totally heart broken cat with furn in complete disarray, searching for her friend for weeks! I took a toy out just last week that my dog played with last and my cat would not touch it. Sniffed and lay down next to it. They have amazing emotions!
