Description
Ink illustration of a Bennett's wallaby.
Drawn using one of my own photographs as reference, I used mostly Sakura pigma micron marker pens and a brush pen for the darkest areas.
The Bennett's wallaby or red-necked wallaby is a medium-sized macropod marsupial commonly found in Eastern Australia. These animals have a grey brown coat with a black nose and paws and white patches on their faces. Wallabies are herbivores and although mainly solitary they tend to gather together in areas that are abundant with food and water.
