Description
A Bell Miner feeding on nectar from the yellow flowers of a Kangaroo Paw plant. Bell Miners, also known as Bellbirds, are honeyeaters who live in large social groups in open eucalypt forests and woodlands in eastern and southeastern Australia. More often heard than seen, they are identified by their characteristic bell-like 'tink'.
